This is really worth the writing and the reading, especially potent now when our Social Justice group here at the Waters of Excelsior is reading Matthew Desmond’s “Evicted.” How sad that your memory could so easily be a report from today. Morality of Death? Freud was right, the end (purpose) of all life is death. Surely we are being tested right now in the depths of purgatory, if not hell. Thank God for the blessed promise of death, whether it holds any hope for a future of anything, It marks the end of this opportunity to make a loving difference, hopefully leaving behind some good that might not have been here had we not lived.

    I look forward to the next installment, Gordon.
