My husband was a reporter for more than 40 years. He is so very grateful to NOT be one now. How can you be a journalist in an era where reality is whatever you say it is?

When Susan says “I am afraid.” I listen. It is the first time I have heard her utter those words in 52 years. “I have to do something..” So, after watching the police use tear gas yesterday on people who got destructive and hearing my comments that teargas and asthmatics don’t co-exist well – she was still determined to go. So Rachel and Susan got up this morning and I took them to the Bus. A passenger on the bus is a friend who is an Annapolis Graduate and a retired Marine who was in the Whitehouse for the entire time of GHW Bush. I asked Frank if he would get her back to B’More. He said yes. If he could take care of the good President Bush I trust him and Rachel to get her and her walker home.
Look at Barron’s empty sad eyes walking alone following his “father’s” prior wives. Arriving at the reviewing stand his sperm-donor did not touch him. The first person to great Barron was a 4 star General. Not his father, mother, or half-siblings. His “father our President is crazy. I watched him at the National Cathedral Trump is joyless.

So incredibly sad!!!! especially for the child, Barron….. I did not want to watch the inauguration…so did not, but what I have heard…. I did print out the pre-published speech in the Washington Post…. Following his father’s prior wives ?????
