Invitations once came in the post,
Now emails & voicemails are lost
Amid FaceBook & Twitter,
In Texts & e-clutter:
I can’t RSVP the host!

About Gordon C. Stewart
I've always liked quiet. And, like most people, I've experienced the world's madness. "Be Still! Departure from Collective Madness" (Wipf and Stock Publishers, Jan. 2017) distills 47 years of experiencing stillness and madness as a campus minister and Presbyterian pastor (IL, WI, NY, OH, and MN), poverty criminal law firm executive director, and social commentator. Our cat Lady Barclay reminds me to calm down and be much more still than I would be without her.
Just spent quite a bit of time today chasing down such things!! Sure is the truth of the matter in our age.

Not a good way to spend a day. Our brains are so full of “stuff” and the pace is hyperactive.

In my case, it included tracking down various user names, and passwords to pay some things online…… Doesn’t help when I can’t read my writing, when I do find what I am looking for….
