About Gordon C. Stewart
I've always liked quiet. And, like most people, I've experienced the world's madness. "Be Still! Departure from Collective Madness" (Wipf and Stock Publishers, Jan. 2017) distills 47 years of experiencing stillness and madness as a campus minister and Presbyterian pastor (IL, WI, NY, OH, and MN), poverty criminal law firm executive director, and social commentator. Our cat Lady Barclay reminds me to calm down and be much more still than I would be without her.
I love this! It really lifts the spirit! 🙂

Tammy, Thanks for coming by. There’s no one quite like Pete Seeger. His voice is the sound of joy – courageously and tenaciously joyful and hopeful in the face of human cruelty and potential. I love this guy. Glad you do too.

What an excellent bit of encouragement, …Pete Seeger -Note that every Saturday at 2PM at the Chanhassen library, there will be a wonderful Music in March event. It’s no charge except for the tax support that we voted for sometime back… for arts. Scandinavian music, flamenco, Celtic, and Larry Long on the 10th. This is best of the best stuff. Larry is a Minnesotan, a pal of Pete Seeger.

I know Larry. Larry sang at the memorial celebration for Douglas (“Doug”) Hall, co-founder and firs Director of the Legal Rights Center in Minneapolis. Larry describes himself as “America’s troubadour” – a Minnesota protégé of Pete Seeger. I’ll do my best to be there. Thanks, Bob, for the announcement.
