That bit of news just brightened my whole day. I am so glad to be part of a church that is actively participating in making a difference, right in our own community. I knew I had hit the jackpot when I realized how intelligent, passionate, and open minded the pastor was (Gordon of course), but I am doubly impressed to know that the very building I sit in to hear Gordon raise my IQ and my consciousness, is to be used to extend a helping hand to someone who needs it desperately. Congratulations Shepherd of the Hill! I would be glad to participate in this endeavor!
Gordon, Can’t send money can send prayers up. Hopefully this will be an inspiration for our church to look into something similar.
