Sharing comes naturally to Elijah. In this scene recorded by Gramma, Elijah surprises Grampa (Wumpa) with a piece of his pizza. Elijah has no knowledge of hoarding. He demonstrates the generosity of the widow of Zarephath who shared her last provisions with Elijah.
Is not this the fast that I choose: to share your bread with the hungry, and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover them, and not to hide yourself from your own kin? -Isaiah 58:6a-7 NRSV

Wonderrful, He is growing so much. It has been a few months since I’ve seen you or him.

He sure is, Mary. Growing in every way. He’s loving and shows it. He’s smart, funny, fun, playful, engaging, and physically in the top one to four percent on the pediatric growth charts. What a joy. And, what a sorry to only see him remotely!

He’s wonderful, but then, he’s had excellent role models in Grampa & Gramma. (Do you know *anyone* who actually says ‘grandpa’ or ‘grandma’. Even this reasonably strict grammarian can’t type them like that.)
