1. I was in ND, living in Minot at the time of the Gordon Kahl shooting. It happened between the deaths of my parents. Another time of economic upheaval, and farm foreclosures. But we have spoken at length in other dialogues and such at SOTH about police officers with personalities and attitudes that are troublesome. The Kansas City bomber was part of one of this type of groups. So often in these days, the reality that regulation is necessary for our survival and wise use of our resources, is not understood by many and seen as over reaching control, especially in rural and wide open spaces but not limited to them. The current economic divide also drives this, but is so hidden from common view that many do not understand.
