compost as mulch
Moisture is retained
Unwanted weeds are smothered
Leaves above are sustained
Cut trees are recycled
Hard hoeing is avoided

Adeptly arranged,
Rained on,
Dappled with sun.
Encircled by bees and butterflies.
Now lives within itself.
