I think I remember a movie entitled LOVE STORY, wherein a definition of love was ” Love is never having to say your sorry.” Now Mitt is saying: Being American is never having to say your sorry. Both statements are wrong and both lead to schismatic and confrontational existence. I think Jesus said that if you have a grievance with someone you
should go and make peace with that person.(Luke 5:23-24) In truth we all could read the rest of Luke 5.Thank you for calling us all to account as to being Christian who live in the United States.
Thank you, Jim. Narcissism is never having to say “I’m sorry”! Love is not a warm feeling. It’s an action. It comes from the heart, but it doesn’t stop there. “I’m so sorry” are words that only love can speak.
