This brief film from the University of California at Berkley posted by upworthy.com is as clear as it gets re: poverty, wealth, and government welfare. Well worth a watch.
I will not go into Walmart for any purpose until The United State’s wealthiest family starts paying their employees a living wage and no longer makes them work off the clock. It wasn’t that way under Sam.
It also gets distributed in government contracts to companies like Blackwater (re-branded Xe) and other defense and security contractors, like the one Edward Snowden worked for. The defense contract awards are HUGE payouts with high profits for the contractors.
Most definitely!

Jim, I’ve been there once before I knew. I think you’re right about Sam.

Welfare comes in two forms: The monies a government pays to poor folks, and the other but much more pervasive is taxes not paid. There are 1.2 Trillion dollars of those annually. http://itep.org/itep_reports/2011/10/tax-expenditures-spending-by-another-name.php#.UwfM6DeYbyM
